165: WSDOT alert for Pierce County.

SR 165 is closed at the Carbon River/Fairfax Bridge to all vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians until further notice. The closure means there is no access across the bridge to Mount Rainier National Park Mowich Lake and Carbon River, or USFS lands. There are no alternate routes open to the public. Note that third party apps such as Google Maps and Apple Maps can show routes that cross private lands with locked gates not open to the public.

123: WSDOT alert for Pierce County.

Starting Wednesday, Oct. 1: One lane of SR 123 is closed from Laughing Water Creek (milepost 2) to Panther Creek Bridge (milepost 5) for asphalt paving and striping work. Traffic will take turns moving through the open lane. Expect delays of up to 30 minutes in this area. This is part of the Mount Rainier National Park State Route 123 Rehabilitation Project.
