Weather, wildfire, health, and county matching
- Weather alerts: National Weather Service (weather.gov).
- Wildland-fire incidents and perimeters: National Interagency Fire Center (nifc.gov) and its linked WFIGS data.
- Selected federal health notices: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc.gov) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (fda.gov).
- County matching: U.S. Census Bureau (census.gov) Geocoder and TIGERweb county boundaries. Idaho work-zone geometry is matched against the official 44-county boundary layer.
Washington roads, fire, health, and local safety
Road closures and travel: Washington State Department of Transportation (wsdot.wa.gov). Wildfire: Washington Department of Natural Resources (dnr.wa.gov). Health: Washington State Department of Health (doh.wa.gov). County pages link directly to the responsible county, city, sheriff, emergency-management, fire, utility, public-works, and Washington State Patrol source for local information.
Oregon roads, fire, health, and local safety
Road closures and travel: Oregon Department of Transportation (oregon.gov/odot) and its TripCheck service. Wildfire: Oregon Department of Forestry (oregon.gov/odf) and Oregon State Fire Marshal (oregon.gov/osfm). Health: Oregon Health Authority (oregon.gov/oha). County pages link directly to the responsible county and local agency for local information.
Idaho sources
Roads and work zones: Idaho 511 and its public WZDx work-zone feed, interpreted using the USDOT WZDx specification. PNW Roads currently imports official WZDx work zones; broader credentialed Idaho 511 feeds will be added after the pending developer key is issued. Other sources include the Idaho Transportation Department, Idaho Fish and Game, and linked county and local-agency websites.
Verify urgent information
Each alert should identify or link to its source when available. Automated feeds and linked pages can change without notice. For closures, evacuation instructions, health orders, and other urgent decisions, use the source link and follow the responsible agency's latest instructions.
