Construction @ Broadway Paving - Phase 2 -- Impact: High

Broadway Paving - Phase 2 in Lane County.

For the week of 11/2/26 construction crews will be onsite intermittently during the daytime hours. Due to the start of our winter weather and the increase of traffic now that school is back in session, the city and the contractor have decided to hold off on milling and paving the roadway until next year. This will occur late spring/ early summer of 2027. The remaining work items on the project include milling the roadway surface and paving the surface back, permanent striping, and traffic signal detection loops. All these items need dry weather and temperatures in the 50’s to be constructed for maximum longevity.

Construction @ McLean Blvd. Paving -- Impact: Moderate

The remaining permanent signs are scheduled to be installed Friday, October 30th. These include additional permanent “BUMP” and speed advisory signs to warn drivers of the grade transition at the pedestrian crossings near the McLean cul‑de‑sac. No work is scheduled for the week of November 2nd. Two speed hump legends were not installed with the rest of the striping, and we’re in the process of scheduling their installation as soon as possible with no confirmed date at this time. Installing these legends will take only a couple of hours and will have minimal impact on traffic. Next week, you may see crews completing small punchlist items, but these activities will not affect traffic.

Striping crews will need to take one lane at a time as they complete the striping, but road access will remain open in all directions.
